〰️ Let's build your CV 〰️ Dscribe your experience 〰️ Show your skillset & strengths

Remember your CV is not just about your employment history and qualifications. It’s a way to dscribe yourself to future employers, to show your value to your current employer if you’re looking to crossboard or for a promotion, and to outline your interests from a career perspective.

People want to know who you are, at a glance.

You’re rarely the only CV that’ll be looked at for a role. So how can you stand out from the crowd? What do you do that adds value to your team and role? Where have you been? What have you done? Why do you do it? What do you love about it?

Value statements

At DScribe we value what people add to the mix, we also like to be able to see this value at a glance. What helps people see your value? You have to show it to them!

Names and faces are a good memory maker. Where you are is helpful, especially when location plays a part in a recruitment decision. How experienced you are is often important. How qualified you are for the role is more important that what you’ve studied if it’s irrelevant to the job at hand. Letting people know if you’re interested in permanent or contracting opportunities is important. You may also choose to include your rates or salary expectations here.

A value statement is a useful way of dscribing yourself to recruiters and others, it’s like a visual cover letter.
